To request a quote or information or to submit your application, you must complete a specific transaction form. The form is filled out voluntarily and free of charge. This information may include, but is not limited to: name, postal address, email address, phone number, Curriculum Vitae information, completed transactions, acquired services or products, pages visited, preferences, etc. It is your responsibility to keep your information up to date and make any changes.

In addition, MOORESPORT may, with explicit and separate authorization, collect and retain personal information obtained from Visitors to the Website, Candidates, clients, or partners.

Use of Personal Information
MOORESPORT undertakes to use the information provided only for the purposes for which it was collected and to retain it for the time necessary to fulfill the requested processing.

 Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties

MOORESPORT will not disclose your personal data to third parties except when necessary for the requested service, including but not limited to:

• Verification of annual accounts/financial statements
• Managing the “calls to all” service
• Computer storage

In this context, your personal data may eventually be made public to third parties such as webmasters, our partners, our insurance company, and various service providers to whom MOORESPORT may turn to provide its services. However, MOORESPORT ensures that third parties with whom an agreement is reached comply with applicable laws regarding the protection and use of personal information. Storage of Personal Data

Website Management

MOORESPORT may use the services of subcontractors or agents to assist in the management and administration of the Website or for any other purposes useful for the proper functioning of the Website. Unless there is gross negligence on the part of MOORESPORT, MOORESPORT disclaims all liability if personal information is disclosed in this context.

The personal information covered by this Policy is subject to Canadian law, and more particularly to the laws of the province of Quebec, in which they are stored and used.

Withdrawal of Consent

The Visitor or Candidate has the right to refuse to provide certain personal information or may withdraw his consent to the use of personal information already provided. It should be noted, however, that some personal information is necessary for the proper functioning of the Website. Refusal or withdrawal of consent could therefore prevent a Visitor or Candidate from benefiting from the content and tools offered by the Website.

Commercial Transactions
In the event that MOORESPORT and/or the Website is (are) sold or transferred to any other companies, entities, organizations, or individuals, the Visitor or Candidate authorizes MOORESPORT to share his personal information with the potential acquirer, before and after the sale or transfer, to enable the transaction and to ensure the continuity and smooth operation of operations without interruption.

Request for Access to Information and Modifications

You have the right to know if we hold personal information about you and to access that personal information. You also have the right to ask how this information has been collected and used and to whom it has been disclosed.

A copy of your information may be provided to you upon request in a commonly used technological format. You can verify the accuracy and completeness of your personal information and, if necessary, request changes.

A request for access or correction can only be considered if it is made in writing by a person who can prove their identity as the data subject, as a representative, heir, successor of the latter, as executor of the estate, as a life insurance beneficiary or death benefit, as a holder of parental authority, even if the minor child has died under article 30 of the Private Sector Privacy Act. Such a request is addressed to the responsible person for the protection of personal information.

Any request for modification will be processed no later than 30 days from the date of receipt of the request.

A refusal to comply with a request will be motivated and will indicate the provision of the law on which the refusal is based, the remedies available to the applicant under this Act, and the time within which they may be exercised. Exceptions to your right of access include the fact that the requested information concerns other individuals, that the information cannot be disclosed for legal, security, or copyright reasons, that the information was obtained as part of a fraud investigation, that the information can only be obtained at prohibitive costs, or that the information is the subject of litigation or is privileged.

Privacy Incident

If MOORESPORT has reason to believe that a privacy incident has occurred involving personal information held by MOORESPORT, MOORESPORT will take steps to reduce the risk of harm and prevent the recurrence of similar incidents.

If the incident poses a risk of serious harm, MOORESPORT will notify the Access to Information Commission and any individual whose personal information is affected by the incident.

To assess the risk of harm, MOORESPORT must consider, among other things, the sensitivity of the information concerned, the anticipated consequences of its use, and the likelihood that it will be used for harmful purposes.

However, an individual whose personal information is affected by the incident does not have to be notified as long as it would be likely to interfere with an investigation by a person or entity that, under the law, is responsible for preventing, detecting, or prosecuting crime.

A record of privacy incidents will be kept.

How to File a Complaint with Privacy Protection Authorities

If you are not satisfied with how MOORESPORT has handled the issues or comments you have submitted, or if you have complaints about how MOORESPORT collects, uses, and/or processes your personal data, you can file a complaint with the Access to Information Commission of Quebec.

For any complaints regarding the processing of personal data in Quebec, you can file a complaint with the Access to Information Commission by filling out one of the forms on their website.

Subsequent Changes to the Policy

MOORESPORT reserves the right to revise the terms of this privacy policy at any time by posting notice on its Website at least 30 days before the revised policy takes effect. The use of the Website, following the posting of a modified version of the Policy, shall constitute acceptance of the modifications made to it.
